Running Accomplishments:

I started running in 2004.  I have completed 20 full marathons and one Ultra marathon trail run and a 25 k trail run.  I did the Wasatch Back Relay in 2005 with a Ultra Mixed team and did it in 2006 , 2007 and 2009, 2010 with a 12 person team.  Best marathon is Ogden 2010 in 3:19:00 and best Half Marathon is Ogden in 1:30:12.  Finished my first Triathlon 5th place age and 14th overall in Layton on July 31st, 2010. Did the Bear lake Brawl sprint TRI loved it and finished 4th in age group and completed the South Davis TRI and also finished fourth in age. 13 overall.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Boston Qualify Ogden Marathon 2011 here I come. Ya hOO

Long-Term Running Goals:

just enjoy the running and meeting new people. I am doing my first TRI on July 31st in Layton and want to complete the Ironman in the future.

met swim coach at 5 am at pool.  She kicked my butt wow it is harder then I thought.  I picked up on it though just have to practice.  finished witha 3 mile run in afternoon after work.

I did my first mini tri, wow it was fun.  I did it in 28:30 not bad for a beginner.  Swam 400, biked 5.5 miles and ran a mile and a half.  I was working with a large group on transitioning.

I did not go into this race thinking I was going to win after seeing 485 runners.  There were alot of cross country boys from high school.  I lined right up front with them and managed to come in 11 th overall and 1st in my age group.  It was a good run with a nice uphill route at the beginning.

First Tri was a blast, I think I would have done better if the course was marked better.  I ran a extra loop on run because I took wrong turn, set me back a few minutes that cost me a medal for a place.  Oh well the Tri was a sprint with swim, bike , run, and repeat swim, bike, run.   Forgot my goggles at the pool on second transition had to run back to transition to get them, so that cut me back a few minutes as well.   Good time though had fun
